Ed-vise: Think

A Raiders looking for a new coach GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, fired the coach this morning. He really did have to go. Raiders do have talent and with a new coach, they might…MIGHT be a bit better.

What Would You Do Wednesday Ed-vise today. Cause it’s WEDNESDAY! And I do love WEDNESDAYS!

Violence levels around the world and country are off the chart these days.

The politics, the wars, Israel vs Gaza, inflation and the “Rage Vendors” of news outlets. All of them are just as guilty as the others. Though, I think the right wingers are much more vocal because they are the losing party…of course.

Understand that humans have an evolved, primitive, brain. Meaning part of our brain still mirrors our prehistoric ancestors brains. It is the part that deals with emotion.

When it comes to many decisions we make, emotion is the piece that triggers the action. Buying things, fighting things, loving things, voting for people…all emotion driven.

Logical decisions take a lot of work. A lot of brain energy to sort through facts, weigh outcomes, decide on what to do. All of those take brain power.

Don’t believe me? The last time you bought something where someone asked “why.” Did you lay out a detailed explanation of the pros and cons behind the purchase or did you just say “cause I like it.”

So, whenever you read or watch the news or headlines on social media, and you fell yourself getting pissed off, keep in mind that those reporters and creators are playing on your primitive brain matter. Like when the headlines keep pointing out that “children” are being killed. Sparks an emotion. A bit of outrage that innocent children are being killed.

All I’m saying on this What Would You Do Wednesday is this: think before you react.

It will keep your blood pressure under control and will make you a better person!

I’m just saying

That’s it for today. Be the person a stranger will do CPR on. Check in on each other and remember turkeys travel by…GRAVY TRAIN! BWAHAHHAHAHAHA…GOBBLE GOBBLE!

Peace
