Sweet Home Alabama! Oh my LORD what have you done?!?
Their SU-PREME Court has held that a fertilized embryo is, in fact, a child with all rights and freedoms associated there of.
So much for the car pool lanes. Now, every pregnant woman has a passenger in their vehicle.
In their quest for a white, Christian, evangelical utopia, that court of Christian Hypocrites has shut down an avenue that was available for women and families who could not conceive a child. That being invitro fertilization (IVF).
But, before we decimate the decision of the Fake Christian Justices of Alabama, I stand by my earlier statements in that it is NOT the place of judges to create laws. It IS their place to interpret the laws that have been put in place and those that remain in place. Which is what they did: They strictly interpreted the law related to the definition of a child.
The IVF clinics in Alabama have paused doing the IVF treatments. Why? Because IVF is NOT a 100% perfect thing. In fact, there is around a 60% chance that the embryo will not result in a child. Which means the embryo dies.
Because of Alabama’s Jackass SU-PREME Court Justices decision, that would mean that the death of an embryo is, in fact the DEATH OF A CHILD. Which means criminal type issues. So, the doctors and clinics that do IVF do not want that type of problems. So, they shut down the process. It will remain shut down until the law is changed.
And THAT is my bit of Ed-vise for this morning: GET OUT AND VOTE!
Meaning check on those laws that are “pro life” type and look at how they will be interpreted by judges looking to “Make ‘Murica White and Christian.” Will they shut down IVF for families and rely on prayer to God to “open the womb” of the mothers? Because their prayers haven’t done shit for kids getting shot up in school so I doubt their prayers will get answered for a baby.
