Ed-vise: Airman Fortson

A beautiful GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, it is a lovely day today even if it is a bit rainy. April showers do bring…May showers…so to speak.

What Would You Do Wednesday Ed-vise today. Cause it’s WEDNESDAY! And I do love WENESDAYS!

Florida.

If a “wall” ever needs built, we should build it along Florida’s northern border. Then, when the oceans rise and flood the state, the Florida Faithful can stay put.

Air Force Airman Roger Fortson was buried here a couple days ago.

Airman Fortson was shot and killed by Okaloosa County Sheriff Deputies.

Florida, in all it’s brilliance, decided that they would remove as much gun regulation as they possibly could. So, short of having a Stinger Shoulder Mounted Missile, you can have all of it.

Florida also has super lax self defense laws. Meaning you can carry that concealed weapon into just about anywhere and if you feel threatened by that grandma giving you a dirty look, you can put a hot round of lead into her. A literal Dirty Harry Playground.

Okaloosa issued a warrant for Airman Fortson’s apartment complex.

The entire force showed up, late at night and banged on Airman Fortson’s door. He was on Facetime at that time. They banged again and did not identify themselves. Just banged on the door.

What Would You Do if someone was banging on your door, late at night. Not a normal knock. A BAM-BAM-BAM!

Airman Fortson, acting within his Florida rights and his federal rights according to the Second Amendment, grabbed his legally registered fire arm and walked to the door. They kicked in the door. His pistol was by his side. Not pointed toward the deputies.

And the deputies shot him six times.

The warrant did not even have his address on it. The deputies, much like most of Florida, couldn’t read (most likely) thus they could never have known where they were supposed to go. Kicked in the wrong door and ended the life of another, innocent man who was on the road to success.

100% within his legal rights and you see what Florida gave him…six bullets.

I shake my head and have no words to express to a grieving mother of a son who was wrongfully killed by those who are supposed to “Protect and Serve” those who act within their legal rights.

I’m just saying

That’s it for today. Be the person your dog thinks you are. Check in on each other and remember a man with no shins is called…TOE-KNEE! BWAHAHAHAHAHHA…Get it…TOE-KNEE?!

Peace
