Another rainy GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, rain to start this Memorial Day Weekend. Yup, it is Memorial Day Weekend where we remember the fallen comrades of wars both foreign and domestic. Kinda hard to say “Happy Memorial Day” when you think about it.

So the International Criminal Justice Court (ICJ) issued an order demanding Israel cease it’s military operations in Gaza. Specifically to stop it’s assault on the City of Rafah which is in the southern part of Gaza.
Nice.
Good call.
Way to show up and tell them to stop.
A whole bunch of the world wants Israel to stop it’s war on Gaza. I’m of the same mind believe it or not. Not because I am anti-Israel, but because of the ‘Murican government’s blind support of Israel’s operations and the fact that politicians in THIS country have put Israel’s issues AHEAD of our own!
But I digress
Anyway, the ICJ said to Israel “STOP!”
There is a problem though and it goes all the way back to children on the playground. Especially the one who says “MAKE ME!”
See, if ‘Murica wanted it to stop, we would say “stop” in a calm voice. And they would. Why? Because we would make them. But we don’t.
If Russia or China wanted them to stop, they could say “stop” and Israel probably would not stop. Why? Because they have a country (‘Murica) who is their modern day Egypt that says things like “Israel has a right to defend itself.” That is a round about way of saying ‘Murica would not allow China or Russia to do anything.
So, the ICJ says “STOP!” And Israel will say “MAKE ME!” And we will stand there with our arms folded across our chest like a big brother while Israel hides behind us and pummels Gaza.
Funny that the ICJ was initially set up by ‘Murica. But, we don’t abide by it’s decisions when they go against us because we are a nation of laws…when it suits us.
I’m just saying
