This one will be political. So, if you don’t want to read my thoughts you can scroll to the end for the final, light hearted, sentence.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but when Biden dropped out and endorsed Harris, there just felt like a sigh of relief. Like a dark cloud was lifted. Kind of like a sprig of Hope entered the room.
She hasn’t won. She hasn’t, technically, received the Democrat nomination. She could even drop out as well if she wanted to.
Still, there was just this kind of refreshing feeling that came through.
And what I also noticed was how much the Trumplican group went on much like in the Bible.
See, in the Bible, whenever something bad happened, like really bad, the characters would go to Academy Award level drama acting.
Gnashing of teeth, pulling of hair, tearing of garments, throwing dust on themselves, along with screaming and crying and “whoa is me!” statements.
THAT is EXACTLY what I have been seeing with the Trumplicans as they go on and on about Harris.
Thing is, they sew some outright lies about how the whole democratic process works. Just flat out blatant lies. And they MUST know that they are lying. It’s plain ridiculous.
In particular as the puke out about a “coup” by the Harris Camp. That they stole the electorate votes that Biden had already gathered. Basically, people had nominated Biden for President during the primaries. Then, Harris people stepped in, forced Biden to submit and drop out.
Fine.
To that, I simply say: It is the delegates at convention that matter for the Dems. So, they still need cast.
However, aside from that bullshit, I have a major gripe with the Trumplican Party and the collaborating, so called “Republicans.” (I need a better name for them).
My thing is this: Instead of worrying about what the Dem Party is doing, create a message of Hope rather than one of fear and hate.
The only thing I hear, anymore, from that group, is hate, hate, hate; fear, fear, fear.
That cross dressing, illegals are coming over the border. Grooming our children to become trans-sexual with books about alternative histories and gays and driving up inflation. And stealing our elections!
That’s it.
Nothing else. Literally NOTHING. Hate, hate, hate; fear, fear, fear.
Give me something that inspires. Give me something that gives me hope. I can handle the Boogey People and Chupacabra coming across the border. Give me a picture of a brighter tomorrow…for FAWKS SAKE!
Right now, the Dems are doing that. They are the ones showing that ‘Murica is THE PLACE TO GO! They are the ones that have shown they want to ease my daily pains of food, shelter, clothing. They are the ones that want to make sure parents can take care of their kids. That student debt isn’t crushing their dream of when people went to college.
It is the Dems that are showing they want better lives for EVERYONE!
For me, I’m tired of the message of doom and gloom. My support is for a better tomorrow.
