A FOOTBALL IS HERE GOOD MORNING!!! to you all!! Yup, another season is upon us! Mighty Beaves made a good start last weekend. Let’s see if they can follow it up with the Aztecs!
Free For All Friday Ed-vise today. Cause it’s FRIDAY! OPEN MAT; PIZZA NIGHT!
We start the school year off with yet ANOTHER school shooting. This time in Georgia. The Peach State. With it’s laws on guns that make it illegal to even attempt to limit a person’s ability to have a gun.
That’s right folks, Georgia with open carry; no state background; no regulating gun shows; the kid lawful possessed his firearm. Georgia does have laws in place that makes it illegal to bring a firearm onto a school campus. So, at least they have that.
Now, to balance the scales, Georgia will let anyone have a gun without a permit. And, they will let any dumb mother fucker (DMF) be a dad. Case in point: Colin Gray. He’s the dipshit dad that BOUGHT the gun for his little cherub.
Here’s what pisses me off on this.
His son, Colt, was investigated by the Georgia Police for making terrorist threats about shooting up people and schools. Posted them on Discord and other social media platforms.
That means the police showed up on his doorstep one enchanted evening. Knocked. His parent probably answered the door. Uniformed policeman standing there. Asks to speak with the parent and the boy. And they talk about the threats and consequences and what have you. They provide some paperwork that summarizes the conversation. Then, they leave.
Now, I don’t know if this has happened to you but it happened to my mom when I was a kid. Police showed up at mom’s work. Full uniform and such. Wanted to talk to mom about some nefarious “activity” that I had engaged in. Came in. Asked to speak to mom and me. They said what I did. I exercised my Constitutional rights of denying all accusations and accusing the officer of being a liar despite not even being able to spell Constitution. They left some paperwork and then left.
The difference in parenting deserves note here.
Colt was accused of making violent threats. The statement alone isn’t enough to bring the officer to the house. Colt would also need to have made an act. Something like rehearsing the threat. More likely than not, he did and posted it online! THAT caused people to bring it to the attention of the police who spoke to the boy.
Now, I don’t know if parents did anything with the kid as far as making it clear that the police better not show up again because of you. HOWEVER…I do know that DMF bought his kid an AR rifle shortly thereafter.
Let that sink in because I cannot bang the keyboard hard enough and loud enough.
THIS situation is EXACTLY what it is like when states bow down to the NRA and put in place laws that make it illegal to simply ask if the purchaser is buying the gun for someone that has made terrorist threats. Nope, the gun dealer couldn’t even ask if the boy has any anger issues.
And now…four people are dead.
Because that DMF rewarded his kid when his kid made it clear he was going to kill some people.
A bit of Ed-vise: sometimes you have to be the bad parent. So, BE THE BAD PARENT!
I’m just saying
That’s it for today. Be the person your dog thinks you are. Check in on each other and remember never tell a pig a secret. They always…SQUEAL! BWAHAHAHAHA…oink!
Peace
