Gonna talk about USAID. It stands for United States Agency for International Development.
Currently it’s getting a bunch of press because T-Rump and his “Master of Puppets” Musk want it out. Want it gone.
More likely than not, prior to this year, you never heard of this agency. Never knew it existed unless you follow the government like I do…because I’m a nerd!
Nice little organization that gets a few billion dollars a year to help countries around the world who end up in a bad spot. Often times, after we blow up a country, USAID goes in and rebuilds it. Pretty cool right?
Musk hates it which means T-Rump hates it.
Why?
If you recall, Putin invaded Ukraine. During that time, Musk positioned his Starlink satellites over Ukraine so they could continue using the technology to work the drones they are using against Putin. Then, one day, Putin summoned Musk to his office in Russia. Had a little chat with Musk and probably reminded Musk that Putin will kill him if he needs to.
Couple days later, Musk turned off the satellites. Just flicked the switch.
That caught the attention of Good Ol’ ‘Murica to include USAID. They put the pressure back on Musk who turned the satellites back on. We probably gave this Illegal Immigrant a few million dollars in government contracts for him to switch them on. But I digress.
Since USAID was paying the bill for Musk to provide these satellites, they wanted to know the “Why” behind turning them off. So, they started an investigation.
Interfering with a war effort for the benefit of a person we don’t like is a felony. Don’t know the specific rule it violates…but, it is a felony. Just trust me on that.
Fast forward to today.
Musk is and has been under investigation for several potential crimes. The agencies investigating are pretty big. SEC, DHS, IRS…pretty much any three letter department is investigating Musk and/or his companies. USAID is another.
So, Musk puts a ton of money into T-Rump to push him over the edge and get elected. And now, Musk gets his grubby Illegal Immigrant hands into the mix and gets USAID…”Shut Down!”
Although not really.
It just got re-aligned under Marco Rubio.
Rubio likes USAID because it gives him valuable insight into what is going on in the world AND insight into WHO is doing WHAT with WHOM. Like what is Musk doing with Putin.
Follow the money folks, if you can. Or, you can follow me and I’ll summarize it for you. Either way we will get through this AND, eventually, everyone gets what coming.
