A long Forward Ambulation GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, took a bit longer stroll this morning. No controversy or anything like that. Just a nice morning for a Forward Ambulation.
What Would You Do Wednesday Ed-vise today. Cause it’s WEDNESDAY! And I do love WEDNESDAY!
OK, bit of a rant this morning about these GODDAMN NO KNOCK WARRANTS!
Once again, INNOCENT PEOPLE HAVE BEEN KILLED BY COPS! Why? Because of NO KNOCK WARRANTS!
The tactics used are the same that we would use overseas. In a combat environment. Roll up as quiet as you can with a company plus size element. Around 50 – 100 heavily armed individuals. Target the house. Kick in the door and away we went. The MAJORITY of the time, the target individual and all in the house were taken ALIVE! Why? Because we knew WHAT THE FUCK WE WERE DOING!
We had intel. That intel told us there was heavy weapons in the house. Machine guns, RPGs, IEDs, battlefield intel, all that kind of shit. So, the military had to roll in a bit heavier just in case the thing escalated. PLUS, there was the very real possibility that the local community would rise up against the military and then you would end up with a massive firefight on your hands.
Now, let’s take a look at what the Keystone Cops of Minnesota did as they NO KNOCKED and KILLED an innocent Amir Locke.
They go to a judge and get the warrant. Intel would have told them that only small arms would be present. Reason I say this has to do with the warrant being built on the testimony of someone familiar with the situation.
In the video, four officers enter the apartment by using a key. A KEY. They literally unlocked the apartment. Then, the 4 stroll in and start the yelling. Amir is under a blanket. He stirs, sits up and is then gunned down. All within about 9 seconds.
The justification for NO KNOCK has to do with officer safety or loss of evidence. So lets look at those.
First, for evidence, if you have the justification for evidence, just wait until the person leaves. Then, group one goes into the apartment; group two pulls the person over while they go down the street. The NO KNOCK will allow them to enter the apartment without permission. No issue. Further, the warrant will allow them to pull the person over without cause. Too easy.
Second, officer safety. Well, if you sneak in, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?!?! I will end with this: NO KNOCK WARRANTS are ONLY for KILLING the suspect. That’s it. Nothing more. The violence used going in only triggers everyone to defend themselves with whatever means they have. And, if you are a LEGAL, NRA SUPPORTING GUN OWNER like Amir Locke, well, look out cause YOUR LIFE DON’T MATTER!
