A BRRRRR COOOLLLD GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, C-O-L-D this morning! And that spells BRRRRRR! Oh well. Jits was good!
What Would You Do Wednesday Ed-vise today. Cause it’s WEDNESDAY! And I do love WEDNESDAYS!
A stranger on the campus of Michigan State (that’s the Spartans) with a gun shot and killed three and wounded five at random.
To the glory of the NRA and it’s evil mission, the shooter was once charged with a felony for…wait for it…carrying a concealed weapon. If it stayed a felony he wouldn’t have been able to buy another one. But, it was lowered to a misdemeanor and THAT falls under the protection of the NRA. Meaning he bought another gun.
And then walked onto the MSU campus and shot it up.
Some of the survivors, were actual survivors of OTHER school shootings. One survived Stoneman Douglas (school shooting in Florida); one survived the November 2021 Oxford High School shooting in Detroit.
We literally have students that have survived MULTIPLE school shootings!
And THAT my friends is why the NRA exists! To protect the rights of everyone and anyone to get a gun and shoot up a school!
There isn’t much, today, that can be done on the gun front. My Ed-vise on that is to KEEP VOTING! Eventually the power of the NRA will break and sensible gun laws will get passed AND enforced. Even by Jerk Water town sheriffs who have NO IDEA about how frontier sheriff’s thought about the 2nd Amendment. Side note: they didn’t give two shits about it.
In the mean time, you must maintain a heightened sense of awareness when in public. I almost have to say NO PLACE, besides your home, is 100% safe from a mass shooting. And public places, especially where lots of people gather, are really nice and soft targets.
It’s OK to look around. By all means, do a little “People Watching.” I love doing it. It’s like watching a “People Zoo” as life goes by.
It’s OK to not scroll social media for a bit. At least for a little bit.
It’s OK to take a few seconds to figure out where you will RUN; where you will HIDE; how you will FIGHT. Especially if there is an emergency.
It’s OK to ask someone if they need help. It might even save a life if it doesn’t make someone’s day.
I’m just saying
That’s it for today. Be the person a stranger will do CPR on. Check in on each other and remember you can tell the difference between and alligator and a crocodile by if they will see you…LATER OR AFTER WHILE! wait for it…HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA…tear
Peace
