I have to bring up a recent event that I read about. Happened in Texas…of course. Probably should have happened in Florida, but whatever.
Kids riding their bikes in the street. Neighbor has a bulldog puppy. Neighbor steps out and puppy acts like a puppy and takes off out the house. Sees kids playing and runs to them.
Mom of kids gets a pistol and decides the best thing to do is shoot the dog. Seriously.
Well, much like most people with guns: SHE’S NOT TRAINED IN HOW TO SHOOT THE DAMN THING ACCURATELY! So, she shoots her son instead of the dog. God Bless Texas and their No Permit Carry Laws and No Training Required.
Two things folks: if you’re going to have a gun, do us all a favor and train with it. That way you at least know how it works. Second, a handgun (pistol) requires a shitload of training in order to become proficient and accurate. Without that type training, you will NOT hit a moving target let alone a running around puppy!
And thus, Texas now has a Stupid Parent that shot her kid. God Bless Texas! I’m just saying
