Getting a bit annoyed at many of the people that make up the mouth piece of the conservative side of the Republican Party. In particular to former soldiers and sailors that want to talk about shit they don’t know.
First, the Republicans. They keep on talking that if you give people money (from the government) they won’t work. People will or won’t work based on their own reasons. Further, we (that is good ol ‘Merica) spent TRILLIONS of dollars in Afghanistan like money grows on trees. We “invested” that much money into that economy and now face the possibility of losing it. If we can spend that kind of money on “strangers” overseas, why can we not spend that kind of money ON OUR OWN PEOPLE! Christ Man! Have you no compassion?
Now to the soldiers and sailors.
Recent post by one of the folks who came back from overseas and founded a company stated along the lines that advocates for socialism are admitting they cannot compete in society (or some bullshit like that).
Any time you hear any ‘Merican, who supports the military and the flag and hates to see athletes take a knee at the National Anthem, say that shit about socialism, remind them of this simple fact: THE US MILITARY IS THE LARGEST SOCIALISED SYSTEM IN AMERICA!
