Once again I see the powers that be not taking this virus serious. And at the same time the opposition to vaccines is screaming at the top of their lungs about how the powers that be are taking it too serious. Crazy times!
POTUS (that’s Biden) issued an executive order directing OSHA to send out an Emergency Temp Rule that says for businesses with over 100 employees to get vaccinated.
You would think he is taking it serious but he is not. In situations like this, we need a bit of tyranny.
Ask yourself “What makes 100 the magic number?” If this is a crisis, as is the case, why not say EVERYONE! I mean we have nation wide rules about other things that apply to everyone. So, why stop at “Employers” and why stop at “100?” Especially when the bulk of employers are small businesses with less than 100.
Not really taking it serious, but a good enough smoke screen to set off the Opposition: the Trumptards and Limaughdiots.
“Taking away my freedom!” and “Not in ‘Merica” and all the other faux patriotic crap they puke out of their “Cake Hole.”
There is a belief that personal freedom outweighs any and all other freedoms. That includes someone else’s personal freedom. Along the lines of my “right” to own a gun exceeds your right to not have a gun. Similarly, my right to protect my family from a deadly virus SHOULD outweigh your right to enjoy the benefits of said virus. At least one would think.
The idea of “the government can’t mandate to me” is a 100% lie. The government can mandate, the government has mandated, and the government needs to mandate again. Unless they’re not really serious about this.
