A first time presenting in a while GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, after a couple years presenting via video, I get to present in person! Hope I remember how!
Think About it Thursday Ed-vise today. Cause it’s THURSDAY! Time to Think!
Ozarks.
I love that show. Spousal Support Unit as well. We are/ have watched the final season and still remain fans of it.
Now, in the final season, the Byrd Family is involved in a vehicle accident in which their “Hoopty” (mini-van) does an end over end roll over. Marty and the kids get out. Wendy is unconscious. Spoiler Alert: she lives.
The family huddles together on the side of the busted up van (I shed a tear for the van) happy to be alive. They did not mourn the van. And that ain’t right! None the less, there they sat embracing each other. Fine.
Cut to the next scene as they pull up to their house in a cab. Thus creates the Think About It.
Not one single witness pulled over to rush up to the family to see if they were OK! NOBODY! Not even the semi that ran them off the road. Not a soul! Then, they come home in a cab! Not a single person knew they were in an accident or even cared to give them a ride home. NOBODY! Of the time they spent in the Ozarks, they had nobody close enough to them to give them a ride from the hospital.
Now, there is no indication they went to the hospital though, medically, they should have. At least for Wendy as she most likely has traumatic brain damage from concussion. That’s usually what happens when you get knocked out.
So, in all their wheeling and dealing. In all their negotiating and money activities. Casino. Foundation. Neighborhood. They had NOBODY they could call to give them a ride back to their house.
Which, when you Think About It seems fitting for the Byrd family. Why? They ruined a BUNCH of lives! So, I suppose, the people of the Ozarks were like “serves them right.” I suppose!
So…Be Nice in all your dealings!
I’m just saying
That’s it for today. Take care of yourselves. Check in on each other and remember if you run behind a car you get…EXHAUSTED! HAHAHAHAHAHHA…Vroooom!
Peace
