An early morning start GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, first meeting out of the way that started at 6am. That is what you get when you work with people headquartered in Florida!
Technically Talking Tuesday Ed-vise today. Cause it’s TUESDAY…Technically!
I have heard some of the CRAZIEST reasons about the shortage of baby formula.
The Chief Idiot of the Republimorons and Trumptards, Lauren Boebert had the best which was (and I directly quote) “the increase in men getting pregnant and sending baby formula to the migrants at the border.” Side note: when you are dealing with a person that boldly makes such comments, leave their presence. Before someone comes along and mistakes BOTH of you as fools.
The reality of the situation is a supply chain thing. Four companies produce 90% of the formula. Abbott Labs produces the lion’s share among the four. Their factories were shut down by the FDA for contamination issues.
Now, yesterday, the FDA and Abbott Labs came to an agreement that would allow Abbott to start producing again. They should have formula back on the shelves within a month or so. That’s GREAT! Really is especially since we haven’t figured out how to make the stuff on our own…and we want to go to Mars…HA!
Technically Speaking nothing has been said about whether or not Abbott Labs has actually fixed the problem. They and the FDA have come to an “agreement.” That does not mean that the initial problem won’t happen again. It simply means that, well, they can start producing again.
So, when you look at it, technically, whatever the problem was, it WASN’T THAT BIG OF A DEAL? Maybe.
FDA has smart people. One would think they would know the impact of shutting down the biggest producer of formula. That such a shut down would cause a pretty big issue in the supply line. Was shutting it down really necessary?
I’m just saying
That’s it for today. Take care of yourselves. Check in on each other and remember a tape worm and the Eifel Tower are both…PARIS-SITES! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…hmmmm
Peace
