Monday Musings Ed-vise today. Cause it’s MONDAY! So GET AFTER IT!

This was/ is a big veteran’s bill that is supposed to add to the number of presumptive conditions related to Agent Orange exposure along with more help for those with “Burn Pit” exposure from Iraq and Afghanistan.
It passed at one point. Then, there was a problem with some tax wording. Had to get re-voted on by the senate. And in a mind-blowing, head turning, eye rolling act, the Republicans (of all people), voted it down.
And I am literally shaking my head.
This, the so called “Party of Veterans” voted it down.
Then, they want to try and baffle everyone with a bunch of bullshit about discretionary and mandatory spending and money being able to go wherever and yadda yadda yadda!
John Stewart is doing a great job of busting them out.
It is a ridiculous move by the Republicans to get back at the Democrates for whatever pissed them off. Stupid. Just stupid and selfish.
Further proof that these elected people are not one bit for the people. NOT ONE BIT and DO NOT LET THEM TELL YOU OTHERWISE!
They are for the party, by the party, and of the party. THAT’S IT.
What makes this even worse, at least for me, is many of these NAY voting Republicans were the same YEA votes that put us over there! That kept us over there! That NEVER served this country in uniform and have the audacity for celebrating the very thing that killed and crippled so many vets.
I want to say “unbelievable” but I can’t. Because THAT is what selfish looks like people. Take note and don’t forget it when it comes time to vote.
