A crazy drivers GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, crazy drivers on the way into work this morning. Dump truck almost took the wrong exit while a big delivery truck was cutting folks off on the 5. Be careful out there folks!
Think About it Thursday Ed-vise today. Cause it’s THURSDAY! Time to THINK!
With all the negative political crap, war in Ukraine, and Britain’s prime minister quitting I think a discussion about House of the Dragon is much in need.
In the last episode, we get the pre-cursor to the big war that is coming up within the Targaryen family. The confusion about who is supposed to rule comes about because the queen crowns her useless son because she thought her delusional dying husband (the king) told her to. Which, of course, will piss of the king’s daughter because he said she would be the ruler. Said it WHILE he was healthy and coherent rather than dying and delusional.
Big scene where Rhaeyns rides her dragon up through the floor sending people and stone flying everywhere. Dragon lashes around whipping that big ass tail all over the place then roars at the queen and her kids. Pretty cool scene actually.
Here’s my Think About It: How many innocent people were killed?
That dragon blew up out of that floor and had to have easily killed at least 20 or more. Then, add to it the thrashing around, probably another 30. Then you have all the injured. I mean this was basically an explosion in a packed auditorium.
All those innocent people who were forced into the auditorium are now dead. Not to mention the number of seriously injured! Furthermore, I can guarantee they have no social net; no insurance. They just have to be poor and now injured.
WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?!?!
Well, that’s actually pretty common. Even in the real world. The masses having to bear the brunt of the hostilities between powers that be.
