Monday Musings Ed-vise today. Cause it’s MONDAY! So GET AFTER IT!
Political musings today. Cause I do love politics. Despite what my son thinks, I do not start a conversation with a new person with “What is your political party.” I don’t really care what your party is. Both of them are “sinners.” Just seems like one is hell bent on convincing us of the Gay Boogey Man at our border, dressed as a woman that wants to mutilate our children after doping them up with fentanyl.
Midterm trend has almost always been with the party in the House getting turned over. This go round seems no different. Dem president voted in with a Dem congress. Midterms will probably see the Congress flip. Fine. That is the trend because the party in power…DOES NOT DELIVER!
Herschel Walker is gaining in Georgia. He has NO coherent message what so ever. Just listen to him. Despite women coming out and providing blatant evidence of his paying them for abortions, he still denies it. Despite the children he fathered coming forward to point out how he abandoned them, he still has people believing he is for family values and conservative “Christian” (used loosely) ideals. Add to that his claim of being a police officer (unforgivable) and he still gains momentum.
Dana Loesch of NRA fame made a great point when she said “I don’t care about his past. I only care about power and control.”
Think about that. The party only caring about control. Control of the three branches. Power and control.
Which brings up my Musing. What will they do with that power? What will it look like? Will they work toward making life better here in Good Ol’ ‘Murica?
Every add claims to have a plan. OK. Nobody ever lays out the plan but, they all claim to have one. How to fix inflation and homelessness, crime, costs of medicine, abortion rights and on and on and on. They all have a plan.
GREAT! I love a plan.
Yet, I NEVER see anyone’s plan happen. So, how will this go round change in “power” be different than any other time? Or will they simply be rotated out…again.
Don’t get me wrong. We still MUST vote! That is an absolute. But still, we must ask, if given power, what are you going to do? And how? Seems like a reasonable question don’t ya think?
