Ed-vise: Car Wreck

A chilly Forward Ambulation GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, got to Forward Ambulate this morning. Dark, chilly, with a bit of snow mixed in with the drizzle. But, at least it wasn’t WINDY! I hate wind.

Free For All Friday Ed-vise today. Cause it’s FRIDAY! OPEN MAT; PIZZA NIGHT!

I have a gift of being able to SEE THE FUTURE! Just like Nostradamus and those late night info-mercials from the 90s, I can literally PREDICT EXACTLY what will happen!

Several years ago Number One Daughter brought up what to do if she was ever in an accident.

The conversation was along the lines of who she would call first. I said the following: “You will end up calling me. You will call me, sobbing and hyperventilating and say ‘da-ddy, I didn’t do what you and momma told me to do and I wr-ecked (suck in air two or three times) the car!'”

Sure as shit…SHE DID IT! Rolled her car off a backroad on her way to work. Got the call this morning, sobbing and hyperventilating and saying “da-ddy…I wr-ecked (suck in air two or three times) the car!” Followed up with lots more sobbing and hyperventilating.

She called 911 which is basically calling her friends to come up to her. Hopefully, if they are good friends, they will chastise her without mercy! The airbags deployed; roof is collapsed so the car is totaled. Fortunately, her body wasn’t broken open. Fortunately, her horse of a dog or anyone else wasn’t with her. Fortunately (and this is a big one) no other cars or people were involved.

Since I didn’t post on What Would You Do Wednesday I guess today will be a good one. What Would You Do if you were in a car wreck? Do you have a plan? Numbers to call? Next steps? Have you done a little “Table Top” to walk through the plan? How about if you were far from home? Take a bit of Ed-vise from me on this Day of Predictions: go over such plans with your loved ones. I did not. Now, I have to do a bit of catch up.

Learn from my mistakes and my predictions.

I’m just saying

That’s it for today. Be the person a stranger will do CPR on. Check in on each other and remember people are very judgmental these days. I can tell by…JUST LOOKING AT THEM! HAHAHAHAHHAHHAHA…don’t judge!

Peace
