Ed-vise Episode 89

A soggy walk GOOD MORNING to you all!!! Great walk with Hershey this morning even if it was a bit damp!

Today’s bit o trivia: Transporting a black rhino. It’s more beneficial to transport a black rhino upside down if you have tranquilized them and are flying them out of a remote area. Soooo…. the next time you get one, sling upside down by it’s feet. It’s easier for it to breathe.

Anyway…

Tech Talk Tuesday Ed-vise today

Talk a bit about some tech stuff with COVID.

I don’t know if you were paying attention, but over the past less than a year, COVID blew up across Southern California (center of the universe). Went crazy with large numbers of infections.

Well, one of the crazy things about COVID-19 is the environment in initially (pre-mutation) spread in: In-doors. See, most if not all, of your other viruses spread primarily outside. From person to person. They didn’t spread to easily indoors. COVID did the opposite. When I look at the environmental conditions around So. Cal, I notice that lots of people stay and work inside. Why? Well, most of last year, So. Cal enjoyed massive heatwaves. So, people stayed in doors for the AC. They do it all the time. Now, the weather is rainy and sucky. Winter type. Guess what? People are staying in doors… AGAIN.

Well, now, the thing mutated. Probably on it’s own. Now, it wants to explore the possibility of spreading outside. And you all thought it was a wet market, naturally occurring thing. I’m just saying

That’s it for today. Take care of yourselves. Check in on each other and remember in order to make a difference, you have to make something different.

Peace
