Ed-vise Episode 238

A Beavers beat USC GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, the boys did it. Something they hadn’t done in over 60 years: beat USC at USC. That’s kind of a big deal for just about any team. Great Job Beaves!

Monday Musings Ed-vise today. Cause it’s MONDAY! Seize the day!

“So what has been tossing around in that brain o mine” I asked myself this morning.

Plenty happening, STILL, in the world and locally.

With all that going on, I want to chat about Aaron Rodgers.

You might recall I had some negative things to say about him after his first performance against the Saints. He had missed pre-season, was in love, new hair-do, and his game was terrible. It was, legit, terrible.

What I loved about it was after the game. In the post interview he told everyone to calm down. He reminded everyone that there are a lot of games left to play, so just “Calm Down!”

Well, guess what? The Packers have been winning. Thanks to who? Aaron Rodgers et al.

Last night, they beat the 49ers in a last second field goal…kickers (grumble). Win by two. Any headlines about the defense struggling to stop the 49ers? Nope. Any word about the defense not stopping the points put up by the Saints? Nope. All about Aaron Rodgers.

Which tells you something about leaders. True leaders. When it comes to leadership, EVERYTHING, good or bad, is that person’s fault. EVERYTHING! Great leaders will NEVER duck that responsibility. They will never point fingers or blame another. They will say what Aaron Rodgers said “I had a bad game. Calm Down!”

Now, if he can get the defense to shut a few things down, Green Bay will have another run at the playoffs! Not saying they are terrible. Just need to keep the number of points down.

I’m just saying

That’s it for today. Take care of yourselves. Check in on each other and remember French Fries are not cooked in France. They are cooked in GREECE! HAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!

Peace
