A feeling better today GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, was OUT yesterday. Man was I hacking like nobodies business all night. No rest whatsoever with fever in the AM. Uggh!

I been paying attention to these vaccine mandates and the firing/ resignations of emergency responders. In Washington there was a display where several emergency responders dropped off their boots on the steps of the Washington State governor’s office. Then, add to that the firing of WSU football coach.
Oregon is about to go through similar stuff. The military as well (again). So will the feds.
For me, I have no sympathy for those who end up fired for not getting vaccinated. As Charles Barkley said “It’s not about you.” At least I think that’s what he said about Kyrie Erving who also didn’t want the shot AND has been suspended.
In my opinion, the emergency services people that dropped off their boots should have done so a long time ago. In fact, they shouldn’t have even put them on.
They were NEVER in the position for the service. NEVER in the job for their buddy next to them. NEVER in it for the service or the sacrifice. They were in it for the money, the benefits, and the pension. Their own selfish interest. And when it came time to step up, they chose their selfish interest over everything and everyone. EVEN THEIR OWN FAMILY!
They asked much of their friends and family. To have their backs, so to speak. But when asked to step up, to have their partners back when asked, they chose, CHOSE, to walk away.
It reminds me of the movie Braveheart. There is the scene at one of the battles where William Wallace (played by Mel Gibson) is betrayed by the Scottish nobles. Wallace sacrifices everything for the cause, and the nobles, well they just turned and walked away from the fight.
They showed their true colors.
