A snow covered GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, snow here in Oregon. Snowed yesterday and some last night to give us a day late “White Christmas.” That’ll do though!
Monday Musings Ed-vise today. Cause it’s MONDAY! So GET AFTER IT!
Had a great Christmas with the kids and their significant others…and dogs. Big dogs, little dogs, spazzy dogs, scared dogs. All dogs represented. I felt like Christmas Story when the dad yells at the Bumpus’s because their dogs raided the turkey. BUMPUS’S…SONS A BITCHES!!!
Watched some NFL which got me thinking about Aaron Rogers. I know, I gave him a hard time after game one and I do not excuse his vaccine controversy even though I believe the Packers KNEW damn well what he was doing. That’s why they didn’t say anything.
All that aside, I have to respect what he is doing: WINNING! The dude just does QB stuff and outscores the opponents. The defense does their job and stops the other team from outscoring Green Bay. Say what you want but Aaron is winning football games.
QB wise, he is one of the best. I will admit that.
If you watch him throw touchdowns and step off the field, he goes and sits down on the bench and just watches the game. Nothing more. Just watches. He seems to have that look of “I told you so.” “I told you we had nothing to worry about and to calm down.” If you recall the press conference at the start of the year. Now, 11 – 4 later, he has them sitting atop the NFC.
Never distracted; stays focused on the job at hand; ignores the detractors; and plays great ball. But, NEVER FORGET, he is protected by one KICK ASS OFFENSIVE LINE!
