A back in the saddle GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, I’m back in the Pac Northwest and back from So Cal by way of Texas. 50% great trip; 50% I could have done without.
Think About it Thursday Ed-vise today. Cause it’s THURSDAY! Time to THINK!
I was gonna write about Disney and Splash Mountain. But that doesn’t require too much thinking. I mean Walt Disney always wanted his parks to change so, this is just that…Change.
What I do want you to Think About today is something of a safety concern.
While in So Cal, on the last day, I was going to stay at someone’s house. Hell NO I was not going to stay at my parent’s house alone! That’s spooky!
I got into my car and sent a text to the person I was staying with.
The text said “I am leaving to your place now.”
The person receiving the text KNEW I was driving. They also KNOW I am a “Safety Guy.”
Five minutes into my drive over, what does the person do? He sends me a text asking if I have eaten.
A text. While I am driving. Knowing I was driving.
Just about everyone I know seems to send me texts while I am driving.
Think About It people. Whatever happened to calling? Especially when you know someone is driving. Or at least have a pretty good idea that someone is driving.
I’m just saying
