A forward ambulation GOOD MORNING!!! to you all! Yup, finally was able to get out this morning and ambulate. Been a bit since I done that. Have to get back into the habit.

Well, Number One Son finally did it!
He joined Zombie Jiu Jitsu in Abilene Texas!
At the spry young age of 19!
I am super proud of him for doing it. For taking that oh so intimidating first step of actually going in and signing up.
Safe to say that Spousal Support Unit has been on him about signing up. As you all know, I have been as well.
This time though, he did it.
See, he made the statement to me of “Dad, I need a hobby.” Seriously?!? You are asking me about a hobby? I only have one hobby. Well, not so much a hobby any more as it is a passion. Carpentry might be considered a hobby. Jiu Jitsu though? Nope.
Still, he says “Dad, I need a hobby.” For me, there is only one response to that statement: Jiu Jitsu.
Plain and simple.
The therapy he needs will be there. He needs more friends and they will be there. He needs that know how of struggle. It’s right there. Workout…yup. ALL OF IT! In one convenient spot.
AND…when I go to visit him, guess what? I HAVE A PLACE TO TRAIN! OH MAN! Life couldn’t get much better than that!
