Technically Talking Tuesday Ed-vise today. Cause it’s TUESDAY…technically!
While the press is falling all over themselves about T-Rump turning himself in, something really amazing is happening in the state of Tennessee: The Youth of Tennessee have risen up against an impotent legislative body!
If you recall, couple weeks ago, a shooter went in and shot up another school with an assault rifle. The Tennessee legislature made it abundantly clear that they were NOT going to do a damn thing about it. Nothing. Zero. Zip. They would continue to engorge themselves on the dollars the NRA gives them for being political whores.
Well, the school aged youth have had enough. They took to the streets which took them straight to the State House and they have been protesting loudly. So much so that not much can get done. They are making it abundantly clear that they want something, anything, done.
Then, the Republi-morons decided they want to expel three representatives for joining the youth and supporting them in their protests. And THAT made this an even bigger deal that is still, to this minute, not reported on at a national level.
Some want to compare it to the Jan 6 insurrection.
Well my friends, those that do would be WRONG!
The difference is that Jan 6 was an attempt to overthrow a legal election. It was a treasonous event that was 100% supported by current members of Congress in the Republican Party, by the then sitting President and his Vice-President.
The protests in Tennessee are legal protests being conducted on public grounds. They are not attempting to overthrow anything. They are attempting to get their representatives to do their job and represent the interests of their people. Not the NRA.
It is a vocal demonstration. The protesters have shown peaceful means. I say that if any violent footage comes out it is because the current administration has ordered it to happen and ordered the police to violently break up the protest. Just like in Iran.
Great job Youth of Tennessee! Keep up the good fight! And, when you get old enough to vote, send those bastards packing!
